The game is not out yet, so some answers are deliberately incomplete. The most common mistakes are assuming the demo is the full game and assuming an old release date is still current.
When does Am I Nima release?
HO! Games currently lists Am I Nima for November 27, 2026 on PC via Steam. The game was previously scheduled for October 8, 2026; that date was moved on September 5, 2026. No exact unlock time has been announced.
Is there an Am I Nima demo?
Yes. A free demo launched on Steam on February 23, 2025. It contains Chapter 1 and roughly half of Chapter 2, according to HO! Games. The demo is still listed on Steam and has an Overwhelmingly Positive review summary at the time of writing.
What platforms is Am I Nima on?
The current Steam page only marks Windows as supported. A Mac demo build exists and some 2026 press material mentioned Windows and Mac, but full-release Mac support has not been re-confirmed. We treat PC as the only confirmed launch platform.
How many words and combinations are in Am I Nima?
HO! Games says the full game will contain more than 230 unique words and more than 5,000 ways to combine them. The demo contains a much smaller sample. The developer’s count excludes “Tomato Boy” words.
How many endings does Am I Nima have?
HO! Games has confirmed 13 endings for the full game. The studio has not revealed their names, conditions or how much the endings diverge. The demo contains a scripted final sequence and should not be treated as a preview of all 13 outcomes.
Do I need to play the demo before the full game?
No. The demo is a free preview, not a requirement. It does contain the opening story and several demo-exclusive discoveries, so players who want to experience the full game completely fresh may prefer to avoid the walkthrough until launch.
Is Am I Nima a jump-scare game?
HO! Games calls it a psychological-horror game. Marketing materials emphasise uncomfortable conversations and a fractured memory rather than combat. That does not mean it is free of sudden scares; the only firm content guidance is the official mature-content description.
Does Am I Nima support saves, Steam Deck or controllers?
Save/load is planned for the full release according to a developer reply in the Steam discussions. A 2025 press preview reported misaligned UI on Steam Deck at the time. Controller support and current Steam Deck compatibility have not been formally documented, so treat these as unverified until release.
What is the price of Am I Nima?
No price has been announced. The demo is free. We will update this answer when HO! Games or the Steam listing publishes launch pricing.
Is Am I Nima connected to the poem “Annabel Lee” by Edgar Allan Poe?
The mother’s name, Annabelle Lee, echoes Poe’s poem, and the game uses a maritime and memorial vocabulary that invites the comparison. HO! Games has not stated that the game is an adaptation or that Poe is canon. We treat it as an observation, not a confirmed influence.
